Terms of Service
The terms for using CalendarLint's local ICS inspection and repair tools.
These Terms of Service explain the rules for using CalendarLint. By using the site or workspace, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
The Service
CalendarLint provides browser-based tools for previewing, diagnosing, comparing, repairing, and exporting ICS calendar files. The service is provided for inspection and workflow assistance; it does not import events into your calendar on your behalf.
Your Files and Your Responsibility
You keep ownership of the files and calendar information you open with CalendarLint. You are responsible for having the right to use a file and for checking the result before you import or share it.
CalendarLint processes supported files locally in your browser. You should keep your own backup of important files. A repaired or exported file is a new copy and should be reviewed for accuracy and compatibility with the calendar application where you plan to use it.
Acceptable Use
You may use CalendarLint for lawful calendar inspection and file-management tasks. You must not misuse the service, attempt to interfere with its operation, bypass reasonable safeguards, or use it to violate another person's rights or applicable law.
No Guarantee of Compatibility
Calendar applications can interpret time zones, recurrence rules, alarms, extensions, and unsupported properties differently. CalendarLint reports evidence and applies documented repairs, but it cannot guarantee that a file will behave identically in every calendar client, device, or software version.
Availability and Changes
The service may change, be interrupted, or be discontinued as the project evolves. We may add, remove, or modify features and documentation without guaranteeing that a particular feature will remain available.
Intellectual Property
The CalendarLint website, software, visual design, documentation, and branding are owned by the project or its licensors. These terms give you permission to use the service; they do not transfer ownership of the service or its materials to you.
Disclaimers
CalendarLint is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. You are responsible for validating important calendar data and keeping backups before relying on an exported or repaired file.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, CalendarLint and its maintainers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or data-loss damages arising from your use of the service or reliance on a calendar file produced by it.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service when the service or applicable requirements change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new date. Your continued use of CalendarLint after an update means that you accept the revised terms.

Questions about these Terms of Service can be directed to the CalendarLint project maintainers.
